In lieu of Homecoming, we are hosting a Spirit Week for current students to experience and celebrate the UT spirit.
To protect the health and safety of our Volunteer family, our Homecoming celebration will look a bit different this year. Some traditional events, such as the Homecoming Parade, will be postponed to 2021. Events will be held outdoors with health and safety measures in place.
What began in 1794 as a small college in the Southwest Territory is now Tennessee’s flagship university and premier public research institution. For 225 years, Volunteers have been lighting the way for other, across Tennessee and throughout the world.
September 10, 2019 marked the 225 year anniversary of the University of Tennessee.
Homecoming is a great time for alumni to reconnect to the campus and reunite with old friends. It is also a great time for current students to celebrate what makes the university truly unique and outstanding.
