Homecoming Parade

The parade takes place Friday, November 1, at Circle Park.  The parade will begin at 4 PM.  The parade showcases student organization floats, community vehicles and floats, and includes the eighth annual Little Vol Walk, featuring children ages 10 and younger riding on decorated wagons, strollers, or tricycles.

Float judging and the parade emcee will be stationed at the intersection of Pedestrian Walkway and Volunteer Blvd.  The emcee will be Dr. Jill Zambito, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Student Life.

Parade Route

The parade starts at Circle Park and will head north on Volunteer Boulevard. It will then turn left on Cumberland Avenue and end at the intersection of Cumberland Avenue and 18th Street.

Traffic Adjustments for the Parade

Two lanes of Lake Loudoun Boulevard will close from 3 PM to 4 PM for parade float line-up. Volunteer Boulevard from Lake Loudoun Boulevard to Cumberland Avenue will close from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM
